SPIKE MEMORIAL SHOW RESULTS

Rusher Kimura & Kotaro Suzuki VS Haruka Eigen & Yoshihito Sasaki
The story of the match was Sasaki showing a lot of intensity as he took it to the opposition. He didn’t even hesitate to spear the aged Rusher and lock him in a torture rack! Suzuki and Sasaki also pulled off some great exchanges, including Suzuki getting a near fall with a triple-jump hurricanrana! Sasaki manage to hit his reverse death valley driver for a near fall before finishing off Suzuki with a German suplex for the win.

The Great Sasuke & Super Delfin VS Kuishinbo Kamen & Ebessan
The comedic duo Ebessan & Kuishinbo Kamen had to put on their serious game faces as they took on two junior heavyweight legends in Super Delfin and the Great Sasuke! Ebessan misses the Kayo Tornado early on. Sasuke connects with the Rider Kick on Kamen. Delfin ducks the Shining Ebezard from Ebessan and tosses Kamen from the ring, following with a big plancha. Sasuke knocks Kamen out of the ring with a jumping back kick, then powerbombs Kamen on the floor! Ebessan connects with the Kayo Tornado on Sasuke, but only gets 2! Sasuke takes Ebessan to the outside, and Delfin nails a big plancha followed by a shotei. Kamen scores a near fall with a backslide, but Delfin comes back with a cradle piledriver. Sasuke hits the Thunder Fire Powerbomb, but Ebessan makes the save. Kamen takes Sasuke to the outside, and Ebessan now hits a plancha! Ebessan hits the Ebese-otoshi on Sasuke, but Delfin is the legal man, and he hits the Delfin Special on Kamen for a near fall. Delfin then locks Kamen in the Delfin Clutch and gets the pin!

Tamon Honda & Takashi Sugiura VS Blue Wolf & Yutaka Yoshie
Sugiura started off strong against Wolf, but the Mongolian powerhouse battled back with some huge strikes to the former Olympic level wrestler down. Honda managed several quick submission attempts on Wolf, but Yoshie broke up each one. Wolf himself managed to power Honda up into a spinebuster. Sugiura managed to spear Wolf in the corner and drop him with a overhead suplex. Yoshie himself gave Sugiura a release German suplex and the New Japan team took control from there, Wolf hitting the Mongol Hammer out on the floor at one point! Yoshie managed to break a Dead End attempt by Honda, but Honda was able to break the count when Wolf hit another Mongol Hammer on Sugiura. Yoshie then hit a running powerslam followed by his trademark diving body press off the top rope on Sugiura to win the match.

The Road Warriors VS KRONIK
Brian Adams started off taking down Hawk with a quick body-block. Animal then came in and they gave him a tandem powerbomb! Clark comes in and he gets one as well! They kept up a pretty good pace despite the size of the men involved. Hawk scored a nearfall with a powerslam on Adams, Clark scores a nearfall with the Meltdown on Hawk. Hawk hits a diving clothesline on Clark. Finish saw Kronik hit the High Times on Hawk, but Animal was the legal man! Animal knocks Clark out of the ring, but Adams whips Animal into the corner and follows in only to eat a big boot! Animal quickly hits a powerbomb-pin to win the hard-hitting match!

Akira Taue & Mitsuo Momota VS Genichiro Tenryu & Masanobu Fuchi
Next up was a battle of the veterans as Taue & Momota of NOAH faced off with Tenryu & Fuchi of AJPW! A lot of big strike exchanges in this one, and Momota even got busted open by Fuchi’s hard punches! Taue & Tenryu seemed evenly matched as they traded chops and lariats. Taue hit an atomic-drop/backdrop combo on Tenryu. Momota & Fuchi even traded backdrops at one point, with Fuchi winning out and scoring the pin on Momota for the win.

Johnny Ace & Mike Barton VS Gary Albright & George Hines
A battle of mixed generations next as former All Japan tag champions, Johnny Ace & Mike Barton took on Gary Albright & George Hines. Ace got the better of Albright early on, slamming the big man several times. They brawled out to the floor where Ace whipped Albright into the guard-rail. Albright eventually managed to catch Ace in his trademark suplexes, dropping Ace on his head with a big release dragon suplex! Albright then hit a rolling German suplex before tagging in Hines, who scored the win with the Hines Driver on Ace.

Koji Kanemoto & Tiger Mask IV VS Magnum Tokyo & Dragon Kid
Less than a minute into the bout, and Magnum is busted open by a jumping knee from Kanemoto! Magnum just seemed to lose his focus from there as he was just dominated by Kanemoto, and had to rely on Dragon Kid to hold the fort for the DO-FIXER team. Some great exchanges between Dragon and Tiger Mask, including Dragon connecting with the Déjà vu on Tiger. Tiger lands a beautiful German suplex on Dragon for the near fall. Magnum tags in and hits a big jumping knee on Tiger, who tags in Kanemoto. Kanemoto out-strikes Magnum and gives him a super hurricanrana off the top rope, and locks on a ground ankle lock forcing the bloody Magnum to tap out!

Takeshi Rikioh & Takeshi Morishima VS Gigantes & the Gladiator
Gigantes quickly took control, knocking down Rikioh with a shoulder block and then lifting him up in a gorilla press and slamming him down! Rikioh came back with a hip-toss, but Gigantes blocked a lariat attempt. Morishima tags in and tries to wear down Gigantes with a big suplex and a sleeper hold. Gladiator tags in and hits a huge double sledge to Morishima, who retaliates with a big boot to the face and tags in Rikioh. Gladiator takes down Rikioh with a lariat, goes up top and misses the Awesome Splash! Morishima comes in and they double suplex big Gladiator. Rikioh tries for a belly-to-belly, but Gladiator counters and tries for a chokeslam, only to have Rikioh counter and nail a big lariat followed by a big splash! Gigantes tags in and hits a series of lariats on Rikioh. Rikioh takes Gigantes to the outside and tags in Morishima. Gigantes tries to piledrive Morishima on the floor, but gets countered into a backdrop. Morishima takes the fight back into the ring and nails a big reverse chokeslam on Gigantes! He follows by locking on a camel clutch which is broken up by Gladiator. Rikioh runs in and takes out Gladiator as Morishima goes up top and hits a huge missile dropkick! Both men make tags and Gladiator takes down Rikioh with a lariat, and immediately hits the running Awesome-Bomb! But Rikioh gets a foot on the ropes to break the count! Gladiator follows up with a big vertical suplex and makes the cover only for Morishima to make the save. Gladiator decks Morishima, but Rikioh recovers and takes down Gladiator with a lariat! Rikioh attempts a powerbomb, but Gladiator reverses it into a pin for a near fall. Gladiator hits the Awesome-Bomb, but only gets a 2.9! Rikioh blocks a clothesline and tags in Morishima, who takes down Gladiator with a hip-toss followed by a hard lariat! Gigantes tags back in, but runs right into a scrape-buster! Tags made on both sides again and Gigantes gives Rikioh a huge chokeslam! Gladiator then follows with the Awesome-Bomb to win an awesome match!

Hiroshi Tanahashi & Shinsuke Nakamura VS Daisuke Ikeda & Muhammed Yone
Ikeda immediately runs at Nakamura with a Dai-chan Bomber, but Nakamura ducks it and tries for a German suplex, which Ikeda counters with a bicycle kick! Nakamura quickly takes down Ikeda and the two grapple on the mat for position, looking for openings to lock on a submission. They get to their feet and Ikeda knocks down Nakamura with an enzuguiri. Ikeda misses a double knee drop, and Nakamura quickly goes for a leg lock, but Ikeda reaches the ropes. Ikeda knocks down Nakamura again and tries for an armbar. Nakamura gets to the ropes, but as soon as he’s up, Ikeda downs him again with an enzuguiri followed by a big backdrop. Yone tags in and blocks a Nakamura kick attempt and takes his head off with a lariat! Yone hits a pump-handle powerbomb and gets a 2 count! Nakamura manages to reverse an Irish whip and hit a spear before making the tag to Tanahashi. The two youngsters trade strikes and Tanahashi ejects Yone from the ring, then dives out on him with a big tope! They brawl for a bit on the floor till Yone whips Tanahashi into the guardrail and gets back in the ring to tag in Ikeda. Tanahashi gets back in and tags Nakamura. Tanahashi takes down Ikeda with a dropkick and Nakamura locks on an armbar. Nakamura hits a side Russian legsweep and locks on a ground octopus hold, but Yone breaks it up. Nakamura takes care of Yone, but walks right into an Ikeda death valley driver! Ikeda tries a German suplex, but Nakamura counters into a chicken wing armlock! Ikeda escapes and both men tag in their partners. Tanahashi lauches Yone into the corner and follows in with a big dropkick. He then slams Yone over with a front-lock suplex. Yone battles back with a flurry of kicks, but is again whipped into the corner and squashed by a following dropkick! Both men make tags and Nakamura takes down Ikeda with a float-over suplex and then locks on the ground octopus-hold! Ikeda escapes, but Nakamura quickly uses a double leg take down and tries to break Ikeda’s guard, but is unsuccessful. Back to their feet, Ikeda runs in with a lariat, but Nakamura ducks and tries for a German, only for Ikeda to counter with a jumping back kick like the beginning of the match. Nakamura makes the tag, but Tanahashi is immediately taken down by an enzuguiri! Yone tagged in and the two exchange strikes before Tanahashi downs Yone with a side-headlock. He then slams Yone and hits a rushing elbow drop. Backdrop by Tanahashi and covers for a two count as Ikeda makes the save. Tanahashi reverses an Irish whip and locks Yone in the Dragon Sleeper! Yone escapes and Tanahashi takes him down with a Dragon Screw and tags in Nakamura. Nakamura tries for a German again, but Yone counters into a wakigatame. Yone makes the tag and Ikeda connects with the Dai-chan Bomber followed by a backdrop! Death Valley Bomb by Ikeda! Nakamura manages to tag out and Tanahashi & Ikeda brawl out to the floor where Ikeda gets his head smacked pretty hard on the concrete floor, but still manages to suplex Tanahashi on the floor as well! They get back into the ring, and Ikeda tags out. Yone immediately knocks down Tanahashi with a running face kick, but Tanahashi reverses an Irish whip and locks in the Dragon Sleeper! Yone manages to reach the ropes and break the hold. Nakamura tags in and locks on the Shining Triangle, but Yone gets to the ropes again. Nakamura tries a front neck lock, but is suplexed over by Yone instead. They get to their feet and Yone takes down Nakamura with a big head kick, and goes up top to connect with a diving guillotine drop! Yone goes for a cover, but is too near to the ropes. Ikeda tags in, but Nakamura takes him and Yone down makes the tag himself. Tanahashi blocks a kick and counters it into a modified over head Dragon Screw! Tanahashi locks on the Dragon Sleeper and Ikeda taps out! A hard fought victory for the New Japan duo.

Naohiro Hoshikawa & Masaaki Mochizuki VS Naomichi Marufuji & Ryuji Hijikata
Quicki exchange of strikes by Hoshikawa & Marufuji to kick start the match. Marufuji hits a knee in the corner on Hoshikawa, but misses with a dropkick. Hijikata tags in and attacks Hoshikawa’s legs. Hijikata hits a big kick to the chest of Hoshikawa and flips of Mochizuki! Mochizuki tags in, but Hijikata gives Hoshikawa a backdrop! The two exchange a series of kicks and knees, till Hijikata backs down and tags in Marufuji. Marufuji rushes in and is taken down by a drop toe-hold, followed by an axe-kick as he gets up! Hoshikawa tags in, and Mochi hits the Saikyo High Kick on Marufuji! Hoshi lands several kicks, but Marufuji catches the last one and throws Hoshi over with a capture buster. Hoshi comes back with a big dropkick and Marufuji tags in Hijikata. They exchange kicks, and Hijikata takes down Hoshi with a spinning heel kick. Mochi tags in and gives Hijikata a Dragon Screw. Single leg crab hold by Mochi is broken up by Marufuji. Hijikata takes down Mochi and makes the tag. Marufuji whips Mochi into the corner and follows with a big jumping elbow. Sunset flip by Marufuji gets a 2 count. Hijikata tags back in and hits a spinning heel kick followed by a snap suplex. Mochi breaks a backdrop attempt and hits an axe kick before tagging out. Hosh & Mochi pound on Hijikata for a bit. Hijikata comes back with an enzuguiri and locks on an armbar, but Hoshi reaches the ropes. Hijikata hits the fisherman’s buster and tags in Marufuji who makes the cover for a 2 count. Super Shiranui by Marufuiji! But Mochi breaks the pin! Hijikata tags in and goes for the brainbuster, but Hoshi floats over and dashes to his corner to make the tag! Hijikata escapes a northern lights suplex attempt and the two trade kicks, with Mochi winning out and immediately locking on an armbar. Marufuji makes the save and the two hard hitters exchange kicks again before Hijikata hits a snap suplex. Mochi ejects Hijikata from the ring and tags in Hoshi, who hits a big diving tope on Hijikata! Back in the ring, Marufuji tags in and gets a quick near fall with a small package. Hoshi locks on a sleeper, but Hijikata breaks it up giving Marufuji the opening to hit a DDT. Superkick by Marufuji, followed by a backdrop on Hoshikawa for the win!

Atsushi Onita & Mr. Pogo VS Terry Funk & Abdullah the Butcher
As expected, starts off as a wild brawl between Onita & Funk, Pogo & Abby tag in and Pogo DDTs Abby then chokes him on the mat. More brawling ensues. Funk back in a gives Pogo a piledriver, followed almost immediately by another! Backdrop by Funk, and ANOTHER piledriver! Funk locks on the spinning toe hold but Onita makes the save. Onita & Abby brawl as Funk gives Pogo a superplex and gets a 2.9! Pogo gets off some headbutts and tags in Onita, but Funk takes him down with an enzuguiri! Abdullah tags in and Onita takes him down with a drop toe-hold, but Funk gives Onita a double arm-suplex! Pogo back in and gets Samoan dropped by Abby. Abby bites Pogo’s head before tagging out. Funk knocks down Pogo with the Texas punches then locks on the spinning toe-hold as Onita brawls with Abby and gets the submission win! Surprisingly, no blood was shed in this match!

KENTA & CIMA VS HEAT & MIKAMI
KENTA runs right into HEAT with a big boot, but it gets caught and countered into a leg lock! To their feet and they exchange kicks, with HEAT winning out hitting a spinning heel kick. Enzuguiri by KENTA! HEAT tries for a suplex, but KENTA counters into a DDT! CIMA tags in and gives HEAT a DDT, and a kick to the head to MIKAMI! HEAT regroups and tags in MIKAMI. DDT on MIKAMI by CIMA! CIMA ejects MIKAMI from the ring and tags in KENTA, who tries a plancha but MIKAMI sidesteps it! MIKAMI whips KENTA into the guardrail, but misses a dropkick. Back in and MIKAMI counters a German into a facebuster, followed by a DDT. Both partners tag in and CIMA dodges a dropkick from HEAT, and the two trade quick counters. HEAT goes up top, but gets caught by CIMA and slammed hard to the mat! CIMA locks on a side-mount headlock and MIKAMI makes the save. KENTA tags in and lays several big knees to HEAT but misses a dropkick. MIKAMI tags in and is almost immediately powerbombed for a near fall! KENTA hits an enzuguiri and tries for a suplex, but MIKAMI counters into a DDT! CIMA tags in and hits a big jumping knee on MIKAMI in the corner. CIMA sets MIKAMI up in the tree of woe and hits the Van-Terminator all the way from the other side of the ring! MIKAMI rolls out of the ring and KENTA tags in and goes out after him, only to be sent into the guardrail by HEAT, who then gives him a big kick to the head! Back in and HEAT tags in and gives KENTA a Dragon Screw followed by a leg lock. HEAT gets a near fall with a backslide. CIMA gets tagged in, but gets caught in an ankle lock! CIMA fires back and locks HEAT in a Scorpion Death Lock! CIMA tries for a powebomb, but HEAT counters into a rolling leg lock! KENTA comes in and gives HEAT a shotei and CIMA hits the Perfect-Driver for a near fall. Both men tag out, but KENTA gives HEAT his trademark punch/kick combo before giving MIKAMI the same, followed by a German suplex for a near fall! KENTA hits an enzuguiri followed by the Busaiku Knee and gets the win over MIKAMI!

Hayabusa & Masato Tanaka VS Mr. Gannosuke & Kintaro Kanemura
Hayabusa starts off with Gannosuke and quickly takes him down with a roundhouse kick! They trade strikes and Hayabusa floats over a suplex attempt and hits a German suplex for a near fall as Kanemura runs in and the former Team No Respect gives Hayabusa a tandem powerbomb! Hayabusa comes back with a jumping forearm shot and tags in Tanaka who brawls with Gannosuke before Kanemura is tagged in. Tanaka hits a big diving elbow into the corner on Kanemura, but Kanemura comes back with a inverted atomic drop. Tanaka reverses an Irish whip and hits a spear! Gannosuke tags in and Tanaka takes them both down with a running lariat! Hayabusa tags in and hits a slingshot senton on Gannosuke. Modified Emerald Frosion by Hayabusa, followed by the Falcon Arrow, but Kanemura makes the save! Both men managed to make tags and Kanemura counters a German suplex attempt with a low kick! Both men trade reversals for a bit and tag out again. Tanaka spears Gannosuke and Hayabusa hits a Rock Bottom for a near fall as Kanemura makes the save again! TNR hit a second tandem-bomb on Hayabusa and get a near fall. Gannosuke catches Hayabusa off the ropes with a powerslam for another 2 count. Kanemura tags in and splashes Hayabusa in the corner before throwing salt in his eyes, but Hayabusa still manages a near fall with a small package! Tanaka gets the tag and gives Kanemura a big spear. Gannosuke back in and attacks Tanaka’s legs for a bit, but Tanaka drops him with a series of elbow shots before going up top and hitting the Superfly Splash for the win!

Masahiro Chono & Shinya Hashimoto VS The Great Muta & Kensuke Sasaki
Muta and Chono start off trading big strikes. Muta catches Chono off the ropes with a dropkick and tries for a Dragon Screw, but Chono counters it and hits a spinning heel kick! Sasaki tags in and Muta hits the Dragon Screw on Chono! Sasaki locks on a stranglehold, but Chono gets to the ropes. Chono gets a drop toe-hold and clamps on a butterfly lock! Hashimoto tags in and Sasaki takes several big kicks before knocking down the big veteran. Sasaki then dropkicks Hash out of the ring and follows out where they brawl on the floor. Hashimoto lands a barrage of knees, but Sasaki drops him with a short lariat! Back in the ring and both men tag, with Chono taking down Muta with a shoulder block followed by a neck-breaker drop and a kick to the vitals area! They exchange strikes and Muta takes out Chono’s knee with a low dropkick. Sasaki tags in and powers up Chono into a HUGE superplex off the top rope! Chono manages a comeback and hits a cradle piledriver, but Sasaki pops right back up and starts pounding Chono again till he is ejected from the ring. Hash tags in and brawls with Sasaki outside. Sasaki levels Hash with a stiff lariat and tags Mutoh, who tries for a piledriver, but gets reverse into a pin for a near fall. Tag to Chono and he gets caught with a low dropkick followed by a Shining Wizard! Chono counters a Dragon Screw with an enzuguiri and gets a 2 count. Sasaki runs in and tosses Chono out of the ring! Muta follows out and hits another Shining Wizard out on the floor! Chono whips Muta into the guardrail, and Muta just manages to get back into the ring before the referee could count him out. Tags on both sides and Muta/Sasaki hit a tandem powerbomb on Hashimoto! Hash rallies back dropping Sasaki with a barrage of heavy kicks, but he then goes up top and misses an elbow drop! Hash dodges a dropkick, blocks a lariat and tries for a DDT, but Sasaki powers him over with a suplex. Chono tags in, but is quickly ejected from the ring again, and Sasaki follows out with a big plancha! Muta and Hash brawl in the ring as Sasaki delivers a big release German to Chono out on the floor! He then powerbombs Chono on the exposed concrete floor! Chono barely manages to crawl back into the ring in time, but is met by a Shining Wizard from Muta who makes the cover as Sasaki holds off Hashimoto to get the win!

Bill Goldberg & Brock Lesner VS Vader & Steve Williams
Goldberg and Vader start off throwing heavy strikes. Goldberg slams Vader and tags Lesner, who walks right into a slam from Vader! Backdrop by Vader. Williams tags in and Vader downs Lesner with a Vader Tackle. They trade backdrop counters and Goldberg tags back in and unloads heavy punches on Williams. Williams shoulder blocks Goldberg out of the ring and tries to backdrop him on the floor, but it’s broken and Goldberg hits a hard lariat! Vader tags back in and blocks a slam attempt by Goldberg. Vader gets tossed from the ring and Lesner tags in. Brock & Vader brawl for a bit and trade counters. Goldberg and Williams tag back in. More slugging it out and Goldberg drops Williams with lariat and lands some big mounted punches. Vader knocks Golberg out of the ring and all four men brawl on the floor! Vader and Brock tag in and Vader drops Brock with a lariat and follows with a big splash. Brock drops Vader with a big shoulder block and tags in Goldberg. Together, the both manage to powerbomb Vader! Both men tag out and Williams drops Brock with a straight right hand, then drops Brock with a backdrop hold for a 2 count. Brock pops right up and hits a lariat followed by the F5! Brock doesn’t make the cover, but instead picks up Williams and hits a quadruple powerbomb on the big man! Brock measures Williams as he gets up and takes him down with a big knee to the gut, and picks him off the ground with a big release German suplex! Goldberg tags in and hits a big Spear and gets the pin as Brock holds off Vader!

Hiroyoshi Tenzan & Satoshi Kojima VS Takao Omori & Yoshihiro Takayama
Tenzan starts off with Omori and is immediately thrown from the ring! Omori goes out after him and Tenzan whacks him over the head with a piece of table! Omori DDTs Tenzan on the floor! Back in the ring, Tenzan knocks down Omori with a flying lariat. They trade more strikes and Omori tosses Tenzan out again and tags Takayama. Kojima tags in but gets overpowered by Takayama, who unloads with kicks and a pair of double arm suplexes. Omori tags in and quickly hits the Guillotine Axe Driver for a near fall! Kojima counters a brainbuster and sends Omori outside before tagging in Tenzan. Takayama tags in and gets taken down by a Tenzan spinning heel kick! Big suplex by Tenzan. Kojima and Omori tag back in and Kojima brawls out of the ring with Omori some more and sends him into the guardrail. Back in the ring, Omori manages a superplex for a near fall. Series of European uppercuts by Omori followed by the Axe Bomber before tagging Takayama back in! Dynamic Kneelift by Takayama! But Tenzan makes the save! Omori takes out Tenzan and Takayama hits another big running knee and gets the 3 count on Kojima!

A special memorial service is held honoring the legends of Puroresu who helped made the sport what it is today. A special 10-bell salute is then rung for those Puroresu heroes who are no longer with us.

Jumbo Tsuruta & Giant Baba VS Stan Hansen & Andre the Giant
Hansen starts off with Jumbo, and they exchange strikes and counters with Hansen avoiding Tsuruta’s jumping knee attack. They exchange slaps and Jumbo comes out of nowhere with the jumping knee! Both giants tag in! They exchange chops and Andre dazes Baba with a double sledge, and tags Hansen back in. They double team Baba with chops, and Hansen catches Baba off the ropes with a spinebuster! Boston crab by Hansen is broken up by Tsuruta. Baba reverses an Irish whip into the corner and follows in with a series of chops. Hiptoss out of the corner by Baba! Jumbo tags in and Baba give Hansen a big chop off the ropes. Andre tags in and Jumbo fires off a few slaps and tries to double-arm suplex him, but Andre powers him over, then steps his 500lbs frame on Jumbo’s chest! Jumbo back up and wallops Andre on the back with a few clubbing blows. Jumbo picks up and powerslams Andre! Hansen tags in, and Jumbo catches him with his trademark backdrop! Jumbo covers and gets a 2 count. Baba tags in and they give Hansen a double boot to the face. Baba whips Hansen into the ropes and gives him a big chop, followed by several overhead chops! Baba whips Hansen into the ropes again and gives Hansen the 16tn Boot! Baba makes the cover to pick up the win as Jumbo holds off Andre!

Mitsuharu Misawa & Toshiaki Kawada VS Kenta Kobashi & Jun Akiyama – 2/3 Falls
Kobashi & Akiyama come out in their classic All Japan orange and blue tights. Kobashi & Misawa start off quickly exchanging chops and elbow strikes. Misawa gets a quick belly-to-belly suplex, Kobashi ducks a running elbow shot and knocks down Misawa with a shoulder block. Kobashi hits a two big delayed vertical suplexes in succession and Misawa tags in Kawada who immediately starts throwing kicks. Akiyama tags in and exchanges strikes with Kawada, tries for an Exploder, but Kawada breaks the attempt and drops him with a big kick to the face. Misawa comes in and they give Akiyama a tandem powerbomb! Akiyama fights back and gives Kawada a snap suplex. Misawa tags in and Akiyama takes out Kawada with a jumping knee. Akiyama hits a running elbow to Misawa, and tags in Kobashi and they double suplex Misawa! Misawa escapes a German suplex attempt and knocks down Kobashi. He goes up top, but Kobashi catches him and slams him down to the mat. Kawada tries to help Misawa, but is intercepted by Akiyama with a jumping elbow shot! Spinning back chop to Misawa by Kobashi, followed by a big half-nelson suplex! Misawa kicks Kobashi to the head and tags in Kawada. Misawa hits a DDT and Kawada follows double knee drop before hitting several chops and kicks to Kobashi. Akiyama tags in and takes down Kawada with a running elbow before locking on a Scorpion Death Lock! Akiyama then tries for a suplex, but Kawada counters with one of his own. Back to their feet and they exchange strikes before Kawada locks on the stretch plum! Kobashi breaks the hold and Misawa comes in after him. Kawada breaks an Exploder attempt and hits a brainbuster before tagging out to Misawa. Akiyama escapes a Tiger Driver and tags Kobashi. They reverse German suplex attempts several times, and Kobashi catches Misawa with a sleeper suplex! Kobashi makes the cover, but Misawa gets a foot on the ropes. Misawa tries a spinning back kick, but Kobashi blocks it and gives him a big lariat! Misawa counters a suplex attempt into one of his own and tags in Kawada. Kawada takes down Kobashi and locks on a single leg crab while stomping Kobashi’s head! Akiyama runs in to break it up and Kawada fights off both Akiyama and Kobashi! Akiyama tags in and levels Kawada in the corner with a barrage of elbow strikes and hits a Blue Thunder powerbomb for a near fall. They exchange strikes again and Kawada drops Akiyama on his head with a dangerous backdrop! Misawa tags in and hits a German suplex for a near fall, and follows it up with a double Tiger Driver for a 2.9! Misawa unloads elbow strikes on Akiyama and hits a big elbow shot off the ropes and makes the cover, but Kobashi makes the save! Kobashi gives Misawa a dangerous backdrop and Kawada then takes out Kobashi with a running face kick. Akiyama hits a rolling lariat on Misawa and tags in Kobashi. Kawada back in and gets hip-tossed and then suplexed by Kobashi. Kawada catches Kobashi off the ropes with a big spinning back kick followed by a double knee press. Kobashi pops up and gives Kawada a release German suplex! Kobashi goes up top and hits a diving shoulder block as Kawada gets up. Running neckbreaker drop by Kobashi, and he goes up again and lands a moonsault for a 2.9! Akiyama tags in and Kobashi takes Kawada’s head off with a big Burning Lariat! Kawada amazingly still has some fight in him and give Akiyama a big face kick and follows with an avalanche-style brainbuster! Misawa tags in and tries for a Tiger Driver, but Akiyama counters into an Exploder and gets a near fall! Both men tag out and Kawada & Kobashi exchange strikes again till Kobashi catches a kick from Kawada and gives him a lariat. Misawa breaks the pin and Akiyama runs in and gives him an Exploder! Sleeper suplex on Kawada by Kobashi followed by a half-nelson! Akiyama tags in and hits a Northern Lights suplex for a near fall. Kawada misses a gamengiri and Akiyama connects with an Exploder! Blue Thunder on Kawada for another near fall! Kobashi tags in, but so does Misawa, and Kobashi gets a double-team suplex! Kobashi escapes a German suplex attempt and gives Misawa a half-nelson! Kobashi hits a running neck-breaker drop on Misawa and gets the 3 count for the first fall!

Misawa and Kobashi are obviously exhausted as the second fall starts up. Kobashi quickly takes down Misawa and hits a leg drop to the back of the head. Kobashi ducks an elbow strike and gives Misawa a half-nelson suplex! Kobashi hits the neckbreaker drop and Misawa rolls out to the floor. They brawl outside for a bit before returning to the ring and Misawa tags in Kawada. Akiyama tags also tags in and is met by a barrage of kicks from Kawada. Kawada whips Akiyama into the corner and lays some chops into him. Akiyama retaliates and gives Kawada a snap suplex. Kawada escapes an Exploder and hits a jumping head kick! Misawa tags in hits Akiyama into the corner with elbow strikes before tossing him out with a monkey flip. Akiyama comes back with a DDT and tag in Kobashi who unloads machinegun chops on Misawa. Kobashi goes up top and hits a diving shoulder block, then picks up Misawa and drops him again with a half nelson suplex for a near fall! DDT by Kobashi followed by a big time Real Brainbuster, but Misawa gets a foot on the rope to break the count! Misawa escapes a half-nelson and unloads several elbow shots before tagging in Kawada and giving Kobashi a tandem vertical suplex. Kobashi ducks a lariat by Kawada and tries for a German, but Kawada counters with a bicycle kick enzuguiri! Akiyama tags in and trades counters with Kawada. Akiyama escapes a backdrop and hits a rolling lariat. Kawada escapes a Blue Thunder attempt and hits a lariat. Misawa tags in but gets caught in Blue Thunder for a near fall! Misawa comes back and lands several hard elbow strikes, but Akiyama comes right back with an Exploder, and tags in Kobashi who hits a big Sleeper Suplex! Misawa’s neck is hurting and Kobashi gives him another half-nelson! Misawa tags Kawada who unloads kicks and knees to Kobashi. Kawada drops Kobashi with an enzuguiri. Kobashi kicks Kawada in the head to escape a Stretch Plum and tags in Akiyama, but Akiyama gets caught in the Stretch Plum! Kobashi makes the save, and Misawa tags in, but Akiyama pulls off a quick Northern Lights suplex and gets the flash 3 count for the win!
