Yuji Nagata & Manabu Nakanishi VS Kendo KaShin & Naoya Ogawa KaShin quickly downs Nagata with a snap suplex and several neck-breakers. Nagata comes back with several knee strikes followed by a arm-breaker and a big backdrop. KaShin ejects Nagata from the ring and tags in Ogawa who quickly busts Nagata open with several mounted punches. Nagata lands some knees and tags in Nakanishi who takes down Ogawa with a big shoulder block. Ogawa takes down Nakanishi with a judo-throw and tags KaShin in, who immediately gets speared! The fans start to come alive as Nakanishi lays in several big chops to KaShin, and KaShin retaliates with a running neckbreaker drop. Nakanishi reverses an Irish whip into the corner and drops KaShin hard with a super-plex! Nagata tags in and immediately gives KaShin a pair of Exploders! KaShin quickly tags in Ogawa, who gets whipped into the corner and Nagata follows in with a big boot to the face! Back to his feet and Ogawa counters an elbow strike into a big judo toss and follows with a big backdrop. Nagata escapes a German suplex attempt and lands a HUGE kick to Ogawa’s head before tagging in Nakanishi, who makes the cover for a 2 count. Ogawa takes down Nakanishi and both men roll around the mat trying to gain position to pass the other’s guard. Ogawa gets frustrated and tags in KaShin, and the two hit a combination STO/leg sweep on Nakanishi! School boy KaShin gets a 2 count! KaShin locks on a sleeper and Nakanishi escapes and tosses him with a hip-toss. They trade strikes and KaShin drops Nakanishi with a neck-breaker. Both men tag out and Nagata lands a big elbow strike to Ogawa and drops him with a jumping DDT, and quickly locks on the Nagata Lock III but KaShin quickly makes the save! Back to his feet and Ogawa lands a series of kicks to Nagata and clamps on a ground sleeper. Nakanishi makes the save and takes out KaShin as well as Nagata hits a big enzuguiri to Ogawa. Nagata counters a backdrop by Ogawa into a German suplex hold for a 2 count. Ogawa lands several knee strikes before dropping Nagata with a big head kick and tags KaShin who gives Nagata a stomp in the vitals area. KaShin clamps on a leg lock, and Nakanishi makes the save. Nagata hits a high angle spinebuster followed by a big release German suplex and puts on the Nagata Lock III, but Ogawa makes the save! Nagata takes out Ogawa and gives KaShin a big face kick in the corner. Tag to Nakanishi who locks KaShin in a Canadian Backbreaker, but KaShin manages to escape the hold and tag in Ogawa. Ogawa backs Nakanishi into a corner and lands several punches followed by several big corner stomps. Nakanishi suddenly comes out of nowhere with a kick to the mid-section followed by a Stunner! He then lifts up Ogawa in the Argentine Backbreaker and switches it into a big German Suplex-hold, but gets a 2.9! Ogawa scrambles to his feet and tries to give Nakanishi a kick, but Nakanishi catches his leg and spins him into ANOTHER big German suplex-hold for another 2.9! Both men tag out and Nagata & KaShin trade armbar attempts. KaShin hits a running neck-breaker drop and locks on an armbar, but Nagata reaches the ropes to break the hold. Nakanishi tags in and quickly catches KaShin with a Fuji-yama German, but is too close to the ropes. Ogawa tags in and is immediately lifted into the Argentine Backbreaker! Ogawa manages to escape, but Nakanishi sets him up and drops him with a Samurai-bomb and covers him to pick up the big win! Masahiro Chono VS Riki Choshu Both men trade punches and kicks to start the match. Choshu reverses an Irish whip and stomps Chono in the corner. More strikes exchanged. Choshu escapes a backdrop attempt and they duke it out some more before Choshu locks on a front neck lock! Chono escapes and Choshu gives him a big vertical suplex. Chono reverses an Irish whip and connects with a big Yakuza kick in the corner. Choshu hits a big forearm strike and muscles up Chono into a big vertical suplex. Chono escapes a backdrop and hits a Yakuza kick followed by a neckbreaker drop. Chono catches Choshu off the ropes with an inverted atomic drop. Chono locks on the STF, but Choshu manages to escape, but eats a big Yakuza kick! Shining Yakuza kick by Chono followed by a dangerous backdrop! Chono covers but only gets a 2 count. Spinning heel kick by Chono followed by another STF and Choshu escapes again. Choshu lands some strikes and tries for a suplex, but Chono counters into a small package for a 2.9! Back to their feet and Choshu takes down Chono with a big lariat. Head butt by Choshu followed by another big lariat off the ropes. Chono rebounds with a Yakuza kick, and Choshu ducks a clothesline and drops Chono with a big backdrop. Chono comes back with an enzuguiri, followed by a inverted atomic drop and locks on the STF! Choshu taps out! IWGP U-30 Title: Hiroshi Tanahashi VS Shinsuke Nakamura Nakamura immediately tries to shoot in on Tanahashi who avoids the take down, but gets caught by a nasty shotei and is bleeding just 20 seconds into the match! They lock up and Tanahashi gets a quick small package for a 1 count. Nakamura lands several knee strikes, but Tanahashi blocks an elbow and hits one of own, taking him down. Tanahashi tries a chicken wing armlock but Nakamura reaches the ropes. They trade strikes and Tanahashi takes down Nakamura with a snapmare, but misses the flushing elbow drop. Nakamura reverses an Irish whip and knocks down Tanahashi with a running elbow strike. Tanahashi catches a kick and slams Nakamura down, and hits the flushing elbow. Tanahashi catches and another kick and hits a Dragon Screw. Tanahashi tries a suplex, but Nakamura counters into a neck lock! Tanahashi gets to the ropes to break the hold, and Nakamura follows with a big pick up powerbomb! Nakamura tries for an arm-bar, but Tanahashi rolls through into a pin for a 2 count. Belly-to-belly suplex by Nakamura followed by a big German suplex-hold for a 2 count. Tanahashi hits an enzuguiri followed by an Indian Deathlock, but Nakamura reaches the ropes. Tanahashi hits a front neck lock suplex, but Nakamura gets right up and gives him a float-over suplex! German suplex by Nakamura for a near fall! Nakamura gets fired up and gives Tanahashi a side-Russian leg sweep into a ground octopus-hold, and Tanahashi manages to reach the ropes. They trade strikes, and Nakamura catches Tanahashi off the ropes with a spear! Tanahashi blocks a Shining Wizard, and tries for a figure-four, but gets kicked in the face by Nakamura. Nakamura catches Tanahashi off the ropes with the triangle choke! But Tanahashi manages to reach the ropes. Flash cradle by Tanahashi for a 2 count! Nakamura catches a kick by Tanahashi and drops him with a pick up powerbomb! Shining Triangle by Nakamura and Tanahashi taps out! NEW CHAMPION! IWGP Heavyweight Title: Yoshihiro Takayama VS Hiroyoshi Tenzan Both men start out by trading counters. Tenzan slams Takayama and tries for the Buffalo Sleeper, but Takayama reaches the ropes. They exchange strikes and Tenzan escapes a double arm suplex attempt and hits a big vertical suplex on Takayama. Takayama comes back with a kick and a suplex of his own! Takayama lays some big knees into Tenzan, who escapes to the outside. Tenzan gets back in and trades strikes with Takayama before giving him a hip toss. Tenzan slams Takayama and quickly goes up top, but misses a diving headbutt. Takayama lays a barrage of kicks and knees at Tenzan, and tosses him to the outside. Takayama follows him out and gives him a big knee to the midsection follow by a swift kick to the head that busts Tenzan open! Backdrop on the floor by Takayama! Back in the ring, Takayama lands a huge jumping knee in the corner on Tenzan, and Tenzan comes right back out with a headbutt only to eat another big knee! Belly-to-belly by Takayama followed by a big running knee to the face! A bloody Tenzan scope slams Takayama and gives him several chops on the mat. Takayama back to his feet and gives Tenzan a big knee in the corner. MORE knee strikes by Takayama! He makes the cover, but Tenzan gets a foot on the ropes! Dynamic Knee-Lift by Takayama, and again Tenzan gets a foot on the ropes to break the count. Back to their feet and Tenzan catches a boot by Takayama and tosses him away. Mongolian chops by Tenzan, followed by body slam. Tenzan goes up top and hits a spinning heel kick! Buffalo Sleeper, and Takayama manages to escape. Tenzan escapes a German suplex attempt and hits a big backdrop. Diving head butt by Tenzan off the top rope gets a 2 count! Takayama gets up and tosses Tenzan out to the floor again. He goes out to continue the assault, but Tenzan picks him up and drives him on the floor with a TTD!!! Takayama’s head hit the floor pretty hard and he staggers back into the ring to break the count.
