A huge card at the Sumo Hall follows up the Tokyo Dome show as New Japan go to all out war against ZERO-ONE MAX! After defeating and humiliating Yuji Nagata at the Tokyo Dome, Kohei Sato issued a challenge to Team Japan for their newly won IWGP tag team titles, and the challenge has been accepted! New Japan will also look to bring back the IWGP Jr. tag titles from Tatsuhito Takaiwa & Yoshihito Sasaki as the CTU team of Minoru & Hirooki Goto challenge for the titles! One of the few non-VS Z1 matches sees the new IWGP champion Masahiro Chono team up with the former champion, Hiroyoshi Tenzan against the Team Japan tandem of Yuji Nagata & Kazuyuki Fujita, and Brock Lesner returns as he battles young lion Naofumi Yamamoto who put on a strong showing at the Tokyo Dome in his tag match with Iizuka against Z-1. Iizuka on the other hand will go one-on-one with ZERO-1 company leader Shinjiro Ohtani in a highly anticipated match which is expected to escalate the war even more than settle things between the two factions. And one of the final big shockers is Tadao Yasuda making his return to New Japan, but representing ZERO-1!
