NOAH 3/05/06 Results

Takeshi Rikioh's reign as GHC heavyweight champion finally came to an end at the Budokan last night when Yoshinari Ogawa was able to pull off an upset of sorts and dethrone the long running young champion! Rikioh overpowered Ogawa early on with big strikes and hard lariats, and brawling out to the floor where Ogawa got whipped hard into the guard rail. But Ogawa was able to battle back in the ring where he hit several big backdrops on Rikioh, than scored the surprise win with a figure-four jacknife pin following a jaw breaker! Everyone was shocked, but cheered for the new champion eventually. The GHC Jr. tag titles also changed hands on the show as the Zero-One MAX team of Ikuto Hidaka & Minoru Fujita were able to take the belts off Takashi Sugiura & SUWA in the semi-main event. The back and forth battle ended when Hidaka hit the Misty Flip on SUWA, followed by the Shawn Capture to win the titles.
