AJPW Champion Carnival 4/07/06 results
2,050 fans packed Korakuen Hall for the opening day of the annual Champion Carnival tournament tour. It kicked off with a battle of RO&D members as the giant Matt Morgan defeated D-Lo Brown in a rather sluggish match.
Next up, RO&D leader Taiyo Kea won a hard fought battle againt Kohei Suwama to win his first points in a highly praised match. Yutaka Yoshie made his Carnival debut defeated RO&D thug Buchanan in an entertaining battle of the big men.
Satoshi Kojima made short work of Katsuhiko Nakajima in just over six minutes with a hard lariat after beating the youngster all over the ring, and the night ended with a great back and forth battle between to veterans as Keiji Mutoh defeated Kensuke Sasaki to earn his first points in the Carnival.

Champion Carnival – Block A: Keiji Muto [2] beat Kensuke Sasaki [0] in 20’25 with a small-package hold. 92%
