NOAH 10/11/2004 Results

Modest & Morgan were looking to build some momentum for their upcoming GHC Jr tag title match, but were stuck at a time limit draw in this back and forth battle with Kikuchi & Sugiura. Tag action again next saw another back and forth battle between Marufuji & Morishima and Ogawa & Ikeda. Ogawa noticibly let Ikeda take most of the punishment in the match, ultimately going down to a barrage of backdrops followed by a big running lariat from Morishima. Vader returned to singles action next as he totally brutalized young Muhammed Yone! Yone tried to strike first with big kicks, but Vader overwhelmed him with heavy Vader Hammers. Yone surprised everyone when he kicked out of his single-arm scoop powerbomb! Yone tried to rally back, but fell in the end to a big chokeslam. Akiyama has been in a slump lately, but came back on form today as he beat Scorpio in a good match. Surprisingly though, the Sterness leader didn't use any of his trademark Exploders, opting instead to put away Scorpio with a avalanche-style brainbuster. Two big team went at it next as Takayama & Bison fought Taue & Sano! The match was pretty back and forth till Sano got isolated and beaten down hard by Takayama. Sano put on a good fight, but was finished off by Bison's iron claw slam while Takayama held off Taue. For some reason, Kobashi went on a rampage in the main event! He brutally beat down young Kotaro Suzuki, and there wasn't even much Suzuki's partner Misawa could do to help! Kobashi planted Suzuki with the Burning Hammer to pick up the win, sending a message to Vader who he will be defending the GHC title against on 10/23! NOAH 10/11/2004 Tokyo Korakuen Hall Tsuyoshi Kikuchi & Takashi Sugiura VS Mike Modest & Donovan Morgan went to a 20:00 draw. 60% Naomichi Marufuji & Takeshi Morishima beat Yoshinari Ogawa & Daisuke Ikeda in 19:12 when Morishima pinned Ikeda with a running lariat. 67% Vader beat Muhammed Yone in 10:14 with a chokeslam. 63% Jun Akiyama beat Scorpio in 13:19 with an avalanche style brainbuster. 60% Bison Smith & Yoshihiro Takayama beat Akira Taue & Takuma Sano in 15:27 when Bison pinned Sano with an Iron Claw Slam. 62% Kenta Kobashi & KENTA beat Mitsuharu Misawa & Kotaro Suzuki in 14:00 when Kobashi pinned Suzuki with the Burning Hammer. 62%
