NJPW G1 Climax Day 4 results

One of the stronger shows on the G1 tour kicked off with Tenzan getting a much needed win over Yamamoto in his block with his trademark TTD. But the match after that had the fans raving and voted as probably the best match of the G1 thus far when Koji Kanemoto was able to upset heavyweight Togi Makabe after a hard fought back and forth match. Satoshi Kojima was able to score his second win in the G1 by taking down Hiroshi Tanahashi with a lariat. Tanahashi ends his run in the G1 with a dissapointing zero win in his block. The main event was a hotly contested match between to big bulls to determine a tie-breaker to lead the A Block. Nakanishi and Bernard went toe-to-toe trading hard slams and heavy strikes, but Nakanishi was able to pull off the victory pinning Bernard with a big German suplex-hold.
